My Reflection

W.a.l.t  identify and describe 3D shapes using mathematical language.
I found this easy because i already know my 3D shapes.  My next step is to do more trickier shapes.

Room 12's Favourite takeaway graph

My Reflection
I have been learning to collect data using a tally chart and show the results on a bar graph.I found this fun because I got to go all over the class and it was fun asking the questions.I wasn't surprised with the results because I knew Mcdonald's would win. My next step is to show the data on a different type of graph.

WALT solve multiplication problems by taking some off or putting some on.

REFLECTION:
In maths I have been learning how to do compensation by adding on or taking away. I know that 6x50=300 so  6x49= 294 and 6x51=306. I feel proud because I know a lot of my times tables. Next time I want to solve larger equations.

Addition.

I went on the ipad and found a new maths game.  I have to look at the numbers and figure out the right answer.  There are 3 different answers and I have to press the star with the right number inside, and then it goes up beside the number sentence and it looks right.

"My question is 5 + 2 = 7.  It is easy for me because I count with my fingers.  Next time I will try level 4 and see if it is hard or easy for me."
