My Trip To Ambury Farm.

On Tuesday we went to Ambury Farm.  I saw a hairy horse.  My mum came with me.  I fed the chickens.  There are lots of animals at Ambury Farm.  Rashha

Addition.

I went on the ipad and found a new maths game.  I have to look at the numbers and figure out the right answer.  There are 3 different answers and I have to press the star with the right number inside, and then it goes up beside the number sentence and it looks right.

"My question is 5 + 2 = 7.  It is easy for me because I count with my fingers.  Next time I will try level 4 and see if it is hard or easy for me."

Reading My Spring Acrostic Poem.

The teacher read a book called 'The Dandelion Seed' by Joseph Anthony.  Then we made our own picture of a dandelion seed blowing around.  After that we wrote our Acrostic Poem about Spring.  We wrote the word SPRING down the side of our page and we wrote some words about Spring.  Mrs Kerr published our best work.  We displayed it on the wall in Room 1.  We read our poems to the teacher and she recorded it on the computer.  Press the play button and you will hear my voice saying my awesome poem.

"I like reading a book and sometimes I read on my mum's phone.  Mum and Dad say I am a cool reader and they are happy.  I like to read about important stuff."

When I Grow Up ...

I wrote my story in my book.  I checked with Mrs Kerr.  She helped me import my photo into kidpix.  I typed the words by myself.  It took a long, long, long time.  It's tricky to type the right letter.  I decorated my photo so that it looks like me when I am grown up. 

"I am learning to write the right sentence.  Now my stories are much longer because I use more letters.  I am very happy with my picture because I like being a doctor and I look like a doctor in this picture."
