MY REFLECTION

I have been learning to write a fractured fairy tale using what  have learnt about narrative structured and features. my Fractured fairy tale was  based on Snow White. My Next step is to Make my end better by adding more detail.

My Reflection

I have been learning to relate to the characters in the text understand their purpose.  I used a Venn diagram to compare  Ivan and Stella  in the story one and only Ivan.  This made me realise the differences between the characters.  But also what made them similar.  My next step is to be able to use

W.a.l.t  write a character description using adjectives.  I found this picture hard to describe because i ran out of adjectives.  I used my 5 senses to write 5 different sentences about my character.  My next step is to find more interesting adjectives.

Comparing Fairy Tales

My Reflection

I have been learning to identify common themes in fairy and fractured tales Little Red Riding Hood and Into the forest. A common theme I made from these stories was they both had red clothes. I found this tricky because I had never done this before.  My next step is to Read more fractured tales.

We have been learning to compare and contrast different celebrations.  My group researched information about Easter. Something I found interesting was you can celebrating by eating Easter Eggs..  Next we worked with another group and used a Venn diagram to compare our celebrations.Things that were the same were there were special foods and they are both celebrated with family.  My next step is to put more detail and information in the Venn diagram.
